Who Can Benefit From Dental Veneers?

Veneers are one of the most popular solutions for repairing teeth which are damaged, misshapen or off colour. Whether you’re hoping to reshape a single problematic tooth, or to create a completely new smile, veneers can help you achieve the results you crave. Here are just some of the advantages of dental veneers:

Immediate results

The transformation of your smile can typically be completed in one or two sessions, so you don’t have to wait for the results you want.

Resistant to Stains

Porcelain veneers are resistant to staining so you can enjoy coffee and tea without having to worry about those horrible looking stains.

Strength and Durability

Porcelain veneers are made from a strong, durable material so you can continue to enjoy your favourite foods without worry.

Fast Recovery Time

Once the veneers have been placed, you can leave our practice in Southampton and there will be little or no downtime required.

Enhanced Self Confidence

If you feel happier about your smile, that can significantly improve how confident you feel whilst interacting with friends and colleagues.

How Do Dental Veneers Work?

Discoloured, chipped or cracked teeth can benefit from porcelain veneers. This procedure involves first removing a thin layer of the tooth surface. Then over the top, we place a veneer which has been made to fit perfectly and to protect the underlying tooth.

Historically this look was reserved for the red carpets of Hollywood, but more and more people are now choosing veneers today as the results can completely change the way you feel about your smile.

Dental Veneers Wax-Up Service

If you are interested in seeing how veneers could improve your smile but aren’t ready to commit, we offer a wax-up service. This involves us taking a mould of your existing teeth, which we can then send off to the lab to produce a preview mould. This will show you what your smile could look like after veneers and if you’re happy, you can proceed with the full treatment.

You can book a consultation on this page and after that session, we can provide detailed pricing for a wax-up and the full treatment. Smaller monthly payments can be taken by finance. Please ask our team for details.

How Does Composite Bonding Work?

Composite bonding is a modern way to restore teeth, either for cosmetic reasons, or to build up tooth structure that has been lost. It involves bonding a tooth coloured resin material to existing teeth to reshape them or improve their colour. We bond on very strongly the resin material, polish it up, and this will last for many years.
