Ian Kendal, who qualified in 1978 from the University of Birmingham, has been a private and highly skilled dentist for over 30 years. Ian is also registered to offer many kinds of sedation and is Dental Phobia Certified. He is very passionate about the quality of the work the practice offers, and patients can sense this by his chair side manner. Ian is constantly undergoing training to keep his knowledge, technical skill and professional ability at the cutting edge of modern dentistry. A self proclaimed petrol head, Ian in his spare time enjoys anything car related.

Dr. Adnan is very passionate about dentistry. He prides himself in providing high quality treatment to patients by using state-of-the-art techniques and technologies to help patients rediscover their smiles. To Adnan dentistry is not just drilling and filling, but the perfect blend of art and science. Although he loves many facets of dentistry, he most enjoys getting to know his patients. To him, the heart of patient care is taking a personalised approach because each patient and their smile is special. Having completed his diploma in Restorative & Aesthetics Dentistry, he specialises in Cosmetic Dentistry and provides Ortho clear aligners for those who want the perfect smile! Outside of dentistry, Adnan enjoys focusing on health, fitness and flying to new places.

Sammi-Peony is an award-winning Dental Therapist who joined Oceana in 2019, bringing with her over a decade of experience in the Dental field. At the practice, she provides a wide range of treatments, including routine hygiene and periodontal care, as well as dental examinations, whitening, and restorative procedures for both adults and children. In addition, she is currently completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Restorative & Aesthetic Dentistry. Sammi-Peony has been a finalist in both the Dentistry Awards and the Oral Health Awards, and received a Highly Commended accolade for Best Newly Qualified Dental Therapist. Outside the clinic, she enjoys designing and creating outfits and spending time with her cats.

Jade has been in the dental industry for over 8 years and adores it. Being practice manager is her calling , she loves looking after her staff and making sure each patient leaves oceana boulevard over the moon with the service they have received. In her spare time Jade enjoys relaxing with her little cat Arnie and spending quality time with her friends and family.

Lucy has been working in the dental field since 2017. She is a highly skilled and qualified dental nurse and has qualifications in dental radiography. Recently she qualified as an Hypnotherapist and her goal is to provide hypnotherapy for patients with all kinds of dental phobias.

In her free time she likes walking, traveling and reading books. She also likes studying and at present she is in training to be Counsellor.

Hannah started her dental career back in 2020 and is now a GDC qualified Dental Nurse. She has been nursing for nearly 5 years which she loves, as she gets to meet and care for new patients every day. She is a bubbly and outgoing character who loves speaking to people and lights up any room she walks into. In Hannah’s spare time you’ll either find her in the gym, in a coffee shop, or most importantly looking after her lovely little boy.

Loretta began her Dental Nursing career here at Dentistry Oceana Boulevard in 2019 and qualified as a Registered Dental Nurse in 2022. Loretta believes Working as a Dental Nurse brings something new and challenging everyday which makes every work day different and exciting. She especially enjoys all aspects of cosmetic Dentistry and the confidence and happiness this gives to our patients. In her spare time she loves to spend time with her family, weekends away, holidaying in the summer and walking her beautiful cocker spaniel.

Shannon has worked in the dental industry for 5 years, a beauty therapist by trade; Shannon has always been a people person and prides herself on her friendly and approachable nature. Back when covid struck in 2020, Shannon secured a role in our dental practice so she could continue to work and provide. Shannon is with us part time as she spends her spare time making memories with her young son. You may find her chatting in the reception area to patients about all things parenting and mum life.
